The People's Police Academy - One of the leading centers of training and scientific researching of Ministry of Public Security

It was 38 years ago, on May 15th, 1968, Ministry of Public Security had a Decision No: 514/CA/QD on “Separating the branch of People’s Police from Central Police School, founding the People’s Police School” in Phong Van Hamlet (Ba Vi-Ha Tay). This is a first school that trains the People’s Police in Viet Nam, Minister of Ministry of Public Security had a Decision No. 969/ 2001/ QD-BCA(X13) dated 02.01.2001 on upgrading the People’s Police College to People’s Police Academy.

Mission

The Vietnamese People's Police Academy (PPA) is the largest Police Training Insitution of the Sociallist Republic of Vietnam.

The period of 40 years is not a very long time in comparision with the country's history of development, but it is long enough to value the great intellectual and enthusiastic contributions of our many teachers' anh students' generations.
