On 07.12.2001 The Minister of the Ministry of Public Security signed the Decision No.1220/2001/QD-BCA (X13) establishing the Drugs Assessing Center directly under the Criminal Science Institute Police General Department. The Drugs Assessing Center is separated from the legal chemical assessing department of the Institute with 12 police officers having knowledge standard: 3 Doctors, 2 MSc, 4 chemical BA, one high ranking pharmacist, 1 intermediate pharmacist, 1 technician. The Drugs assessing Center is supervised by 1 director with the assistance of 2 deputy directors taking responsibility to help the institute rector in organizing, directing works of assessing the drugs and the pre-substance serving in time for the struggling requirement of preventing and fighting with the criminal ad other violation to the law.
